Hello and welcome to beautiful Acai MD.

Ive heard it as an opinion that acai berries might cause cancer, does this hold any truth?

I have been taking pills for the berry from acai and also I drink the juice done of berries of acai. I have heard recently that said that due to the area that the berries of acai grow, it can be that they are bad for you and they cause the cancer. There is truth absolutely to this?

No, it’s not true. As a matter of fact, because acai berries are high in anti-oxidants, they may protect you from cancer. Just keep in mind that acai berries DON’T help you lose weight.

My understanding is that acai berries are safe - even if they’re exposed to any pollution or carcinogens based on their growing location, these chemicals are likely filtered out when the berries are processed into juice and dried supplements.

Plus, the naturally high levels of anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals found in the berries are actually much more likely to help you prevent cancer!

I was concerned also about the safety of Acai Berry and did alot of research. I was very surprised to find that there are no side effects and it is very healthy for you. The only caution you should have before buying is to make sure you buy Pure Acai.
